This year's Sheridan County Fair will have a bit of a different look to it as there has been some new entertainment that has been added to try and attract a wider array of people to the Fair. Facilities Director Melissa Albrecth explains.

The 3rd Tuesday of the month has been designated as Bluegrass Open Mic Performance night at the Sheridan Senior Center, the first of which will be this Tuesday evening. Senior Center Activities Director Jane Perkins.

State Legislature Turns Down $38 Million From Feds

Federal money offered to Wyoming for unemployment benefits will go to other states. The Wyoming House rejected a plan to use 38-million dollars in federal funding to extend benefits to those experiencing long-term unemployment, and to keep benefits in place for those in re-training programs.
