Yellowstone National Park is seeking to update their Fire Management Plan to reflect recent changes in federal fire policy. The Fire Management Plan is the guide that is used by park officials on how to manage wildland fires in Yellowstone.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Governor Matt Mead and other officials in Wyoming say they're disappointed with this week's ruling by a federal appeals court that stopped the federal government from ending Endangered Species Act protections for grizzly bears in the Yellowstone region.
