Two Buffalo-area entities were recently awarded grants from the Sheridan-Johnson Community Foundation. The Johnson County Family YMCA received a grant in the amount of $7,000 that will be used to purchase fitness equipment for the facility.

Johnson County Commission Chair Smokey Wildeman feels the need to explain more about the joint City/County engineer position that the entities have formally decided to back.
