Bag 'o Bones Educational Program Monday in Buffalo

The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum and the Bureau of Land Management's Halloween-themed educational program will have part two of their four-part series Monday at the Johnson County Library in Buffalo.
The program will give kids closer look at owls, bats, fossils and the history behind Halloween.

Wyoming Sees First Heavy Snowfall

CHEYENNE (AP) - Up to 14 inches of snow is forecast for the mountains in north-central Wyoming as Mother Nature put an abrupt end to summer-like weather in the state.

Elderly Couple Reported Missing in Northeast Wyoming

(Update 9 am Monday, Oct. 10): The couple was found on Saturday at about 4 pm stuck in the mud on a back road just north of the Montana border with no injuries. Sheridan Search and Rescue used the Garmin GPS installed their Chrysler 300 to locate them. They were transported to the relative's house located on Lower Powder River Road near Arvada by two Search and Rescue personnel.

Ceremony Held for Sheridan Baseball Academy Complex

About 100 from the Sheridan area gathered on the Wrench Ranch Hills future development Friday afternoon to view the area where the Sheridan Baseball Academy's complex will be built and to recognize contributors to the project.
