A meeting to gather public input on a proposed gravel mine south of Buffalo will be Monday night at the Johnson County Annex Building beginning at 6 pm.

Wyoming Construction Materials applied for the air quality permit for the mine, a requirement by the Department of Environmental Quality before the mine can be made operational.

One of two women charged in connection with an ongoing drug investigation made her initial appearance in court Friday.

Tonya Colette Sickler was arrested last week and charged with two counts of Conspiracy and two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, both felonies.
