At Monday's School District 2 board meeting, it was announced that part of the bid awarded to Mountain View Construction for demolition and abatement of Meadowlark Elementary on DeSmet included a $45,000 alternate bid to move the numerous trees from that property to Highland Park Elementary School.

The switch was flipped on the decorative lighting Wednesday that adorns North Main Street in Sheridan, and that is also part of the North Main reconstruction project. Electrofab was the company with whom the City of Sheridan contracted to install the decorative lighting that will be very reminiscent of the lighting along Main Street in Downtown.
