State Candidates Debate the Issues

The second of two candidate forums hosted by the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce was held Wednesday night at the Sheridan College C-TEL. The forum included candidates for Wyoming Governor, State Auditor, Superintendent of Public Instruction, U.S. Representative, and State Representative for House Districts 30, 40, and 51.

Three of the six candidates for Sheridan County Commission appeared as guests on KROE'S Public Pulse program Wednesday, with the other three scheduled to be on the program Thursday. Current Commissioner Terry Cram says that there is some unfinished business that he'd like to take care of.

A lengthy “Motion to Suppress” hearing, followed by a brief Pre-Trial Conference took place in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday in the Wyatt Bear Cloud case. The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a primary election candidate forum that began last night. Candidates running for the offices of Sheridan County Assessor, Clerk, Commissioner and Coroner spoke on their background, as well as initiatives and platforms the candidate considers important to Sheridan County.
