The Sheridan County Commissioners held a special meeting Friday to award the bid for the McCormick Road project. DCM Construction of Sheridan submitted the lowest bid and was awarded the project at just over $155,000. Sheridan County Engineer Ken Muller explains what the project to McCormick Road will consist of.

UPDATE! Suspect Charged in I-80 Rampage

In a media release issued just before noon Friday from Sgt. Townsend with the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Armondo Cano, the suspect in Wednesday evening's rampage on I-80 in Sweetwater County, has been charged with sixteen violations, including felonies and misdemeanors. Cano has been charged in Sweetwater County with the following:

Death at Jackson Hole Rodeo

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A saddle bronc rider has died from injuries he suffered during competition at the Jackson Hole Rodeo. Teton County Coroner Bob Campbell says the victim of the Wednesday night accident was 20-year-old Nicolas Gillett of Cody.

Sheridan Media Wins Station of the Year

At the 2010 Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Convention last weekend, the two-day event culminated with an Awards Banquet at the Sheridan Holiday Inn. Present were folks from around Wyoming representing large market and small market radio, as well as television stations.
