The Sheridan City Council recently directed City Staff to work with Kendrick Golf Pro Brian James to develop incentives to increase usage at Kendrick Municipal Golf Course on slow days. City of Sheridan Public Works Director Nic Bateson explains

All one has to do is take a quick jaunt down Main Street in Sheridan to get an understanding of the importance of art in the community. The Sheridan City Council received an update from Sheridan Public Arts Committee Chair Fachon Wilson Monday night regarding this year's Celebrate the Arts to be held in June.

April was Child Abuse Awareness Month, but as Dr. Barry Wohl, a pediatrician in Sheridan said on a recent Public Pulse program, the issue is one of which we should be aware every day. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson has more.

It was “Women’s Build Day” as the power of the brush took over Saturday, with two crews of women volunteers priming and painting the interior of a Habitat for Humanity home.  Project manager Eliza Evans said that this is the big transitional step in finishing the soon-to-be home of Becky Graham and her three girls. 

No photo finish for this fundraising event as final figures finished several lengths ahead of last year at the CHAPS “Nite at the Races,” held Saturday at the Exhibition Hall at the fairgrounds.

Nearly 500 people attended the Republican State Convention in Sheridan this weekend. There were also a few people who came to the convention, but didn't exactly attend—these were the protesters outside in cold and windy weather. Sheridan Media's Betsy Love has more:
