GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Officials with the Gillette Police Department say a 14-year-old girl who left home with two men she met online has been found. The girl and 22-year-old Jesse Calhoun of Qemado, New Mexico were found early Saturday at a hotel in Trinidad, Colorado.

Nearly 400 plates of baklava, spring rolls, naan, flautas, and more were served Friday night at Sheridan College in the Golden Dome.

Visitors to Wyoming’s State Park lakes and reservoirs this summer can expect some short delays as members of the Game and Fish Department will be inspecting various watercraft for possible contamination by invasive species, specifically quagga and zebra mussels.

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A Gillette man says he will attempt to break the world record for the most body piercings in one session. Ed Bruns already has 15 piercings, but on Sunday will try for 2,000 piercings in two hours. He's trying to break a record of 1,197 piercings in a single five-hour session.

The recent decision to eliminate the Speech and Debate program at Sheridan College was made jointly by faculty and administration. Sheridan College Vice President of Enrollment Services Mark Englert says that the decision was a tough one, but that it will actually help strengthen another program.

Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jim McBride released a letter Friday that he sent to the U.S. Department of Education that outlines his concerns with the current PAWS testing, as well as testimonial from Wyoming school districts.

RIVERTON -- Federal and local authorities are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl whose body was found along a roadside on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Marisa Spoonhunter's body was found off Givens Road, just east of Ethete. She had been missing for four days.

Spring in Wyoming means controlled burns on county properties to prepare fields for planting or to clean up areas. There is a right way to conduct the burns, as Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson reports.

The Wyoming Community Foundation is a statewide public foundation with 7,000 donors from Wyoming and across the nation. It is currently valued at $50-plus million with a focus on giving monies to non-profits.

For several years, Christmas in April was a program in Sheridan where people in existing homes would apply for assistance for maintenance issues. Now, that program has been merged with a new Habitat for Humanity program called "A Brush with Kindness." Habitat's Executive Director in Sheridan, Jessica Lindsley, says of the merge.
