The deadline to file your 2009 tax return is looming, as April 15th is only days away. IRS Spokesperson Karen Connelly says that filing for an extension is a pretty simple procedure if done on-line.

Connelly explains what taxpayers should do if they owe and are unable to pay by midnight on the 15th.

The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon and program will focus on new technologies and community partnerships. Chamber Executive Director Janelle Anderson says that Jesus Rios with ACT will present the program.

It may have taken a temporary hiatus for a few years, but the Shall We Dance annual Spring Showcase is back for two performances this weekend. Suzanna Quintana with Shall We Dance explains why this showcase will be so unique.

Governor Dave Freudenthal has appointed Mary Hopkins as Wyoming's State Historic Preservation Officer. Hopkins brings more than 32 years of historical preservation experience to the position and has been the Interim SHPO for the past three years. Hopkins comments on the Governor's appointment.

Funky Monkeys, Fuzzy Pandas, Raging Rams, Mooing Elephants and another 53 teams converged on Casper College this past weekend for the State competition of Destination Imagination.

This year's Pinewood Derby, which was held at Hammer's Chevrolet in Sheridan on Saturday, raised over $2,000 to benefit the local Boy Scout and Cub Scout programs. Before the Scouts had their round of races, local businesses competed with home-made mini-derby cars.

Earth day celebrations are kicking off today with the opening of the 4th annual Miniature Art Auction. Though this is the first year they are also including music in addition to miniature art with the items up for bid. Sara Domek with the Wyoming Wilderness Association, tells us about this year's art

The 3rd Annual Career Expo will be held Thursday, April 15th at the Sheridan College Golden Dome. Sponsored by the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director Janelle Anderson explains the purpose for the event.
