Winter visits nearly flat at Yellowstone

Low snowfall and the recession are being blamed for modest gains this winter in visits to Yellowstone National Park.
From December to March, the park saw 93,838 visitors, an 8
percent increase from last year. Those numbers are still down from the 2007-08 season when the park saw 99,975 visitors.

Officials and representatives from the various transportation services in Sheridan have been meeting to determine what kind of alternative form of transportation would best suit the community.
