Hallmark Building Could Be Home For Performing Arts Students

Sheridan College Board of Trustee's approved an updated master plan for the college this week. The top priority is to seek funding to expand classroom space and other student learning areas. However, the plan also emphasizes long-term general goals, such as the need to capitalize and expand certain programs, including the nursing and culinary arts programs.

Hammering Out Hope for Humanity

A joint project between two student organizations at Sheridan College will help a future Habitat for Humanity homeowner. The Habitat Sheridan College Campus Chapter and the college Construction Technology Class worked all day Friday to construct a storage shed to benefit an upcoming Habitat homeowner in the Poplar Grove Subdivision.

Sheridan College Will Go "Real World" With Medical Simulation

Sheridan College is to receive money from the federal government as part of the 2009 federal stimulus bill. However, these funds, says College Interim President Jon Connolly, will be used in part to counteract state budget cuts
