The debate in Congress lasted most of Sunday over the proposed Health Care Bill. Despite all House Republicans and just over thirty Democrats voting against it late last night in Washington D.C., the bill passed the House. This week's Bank of Sheridan/sheridanmedia.com poll question is, "Do you support the Health Care Bill as currently proposed?"

This has been a very unusual year in Wyoming--at least health-wise. Sheridan County Public Nurse Educator Katie Hiller.

It's been strange this year, you may have guessed, because of the H1N1 virus, also known as "swine flu." Part of what is strange, Hiller says, is how this virus has impacted regular flu rates.

Construction of the ten inch water line project in Ranchester should be complete by the end of this week. Ranchester Mayor Cliff Clevenger.

Clevenger said that once the water line is done, they'll be moving on to several other big projects in the Town.

While many Wyoming waters are still ice covered, the Game and Fish is encouraging boaters to register their boats now for the upcoming year. Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke says that registration can now be done at the Sheridan Regional Office.
