Wyoming jailers find possible synthetic marijuana

Authorities in Gillette say a large amount
of what appears to be synthetic marijuana has been seized from
inmates who were fighting at the Volunteers of America correctional facility, a halfway house for low-risk inmates.
Jail guards say they found 16 Ziploc bags of Spice while booking the five inmates into jail.

Sinclair agrees to pay $660,000 for refinery spill

Sinclair Oil Corp. says it has agreed to
pay a $660,000 fine to the Wyoming Department of Environmental
Quality for a spill at a refinery.
Salt Lake City-based Sinclair said in a statement Friday that it
regretted the spill at the refinery in Sinclair and is working with
the state to prevent a recurrence.
The fine will be among the biggest the department has collected

Wyoming Arts Council Is Offering A New Grant Program

The Wyoming Arts Council is now offering a new grant program to help fund operating support of the state's established non-profit arts organizations. The funding may be used by organizations to fund any of their general operating expenses.
