At Monday night's City of Sheridan Planning Commission meeting, Commission Chair Alex Lee announced his resignation. Lee resigned in light of the recent General Election, where Lee was elected to represent Ward Two on the Sheridan City Council.

The Powder River Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation held their fundraiser dinner Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Sheridan Media's Aaron Palmer has the story.

The Sheridan City Council held a work session Monday where they heard a presentation from Kip Duchon with the CDC on the benefits of fluoridation of public water systems.

Mother Nature has been kind to crews working on the North Main Reconstruction project that began earlier this year in Sheridan. WYDOT Public Involvement Specialist Ronda Holwell says that it has enabled them to progress on the project nicely.

Representatives from the City of Sheridan, WYDOT, and the North Main Neighborhood Association held a tree planting ceremony Monday along North Main Street in Sheridan.

Determined to work for responsible energy development and protection of Wyoming’s clean air, open spaces, and agricultural heritage, the Powder River Basin Resource Council held its 38th annual meeting Saturday at the Sheridan Elk’s Club.

The weather couldn’t have been any better as Saturday marked the beginning of the Christmas bazaar season and the ladies of the Big Horn Women’s Club got off to a great start.
