SHS Hosts District Music Festival

The NE Wyoming High School District Band, along with a choir, performed November 20th at SHS.

The "best of the best" vocal and band students have been hard at work at Sheridan High School this weekend for the 2010 NE Wyoming District Music Festival. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson has the story.

New Oil Spill Report Finds Risks Ignored

The science is in - and it finds B-P and its contractors failed to learn from "near misses," and made risky decisions that contributed to the oil well blowout and spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Those findings are in an interim report out this week that was requested by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.

DFS Names Interim Director at Girls School

In a media release issued late Friday afternoon, Wyoming Department of Family Services Director Tony Lewis announced that Chris Jones has been appointed Interim Superintendent of the Wyoming Girls School in Sheridan.
