Over one hundred people turned out on a cool and drizzly Saturday morning to take part in the “Family March Against Violence.  Beginning at the US Bank parking lot and ending at Grinnell Plaza, the march was held to make a stand against domestic violence and violence in our community.

Sheridan County Public Health To Host Flu Clinics This Month

Sheridan County Public Health will be hosting several flu clinics this month, with the first one to take place tomorrow at the Public Health Office in Sheridan. Public Health Nurse Katie Hiller says that while flu season isn't here just yet, now is the time to get vaccinated before it hits.

Ex-Casper Pharmacist Sentenced On Drug Charge

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A pharmacist accused of taking more than 3,000 doses of drugs from Mountain View Regional Hospital has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation. The Casper Star-Tribune reports that 41-year-old Kimberly Nimmo pleaded guilty in July to one count of possession of more than three grams of a controlled substance.

Report Shows That the Arts is a Driving Force in Wyoming's Economy

While most indicators point to mineral extraction, tourism and agriculture as the State's leading industries, Wyoming’s Arts Community is a driving force in the State’s economy and compares favorably with its neighbors in the Rocky Mountain west and nationally. This is according to a Creative Vitality Index report released recently by the Western States Arts Federation.
