BILLINGS WOMAN DIES IN CRASH WITH SEMI

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 55-year-old Billings woman who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 has died in a fiery head-on crash with a semitrailer truck. The victim has been identified as Pamela Mangen of Billings.

BURGLARY TRIAL STARTED YESTERDAY IN DISTRICT COURT

The trial started yesterday for a Sheridan County man accused of burglarizing a Dayton business. Last October the Crazy Woman Saloon was broken into and over $3,000 was stolen. 38-year-old Stanley Budder was arrested for the crime less than a week later.

LANDSLIDE CAUSES CONCERN AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

When the original Sheridan High School was constructed nearly 90 years ago, Big Goose Creek still had a natural flow pattern, and it was several decades before the flood control measures were put in place.

FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT DIABETES EDUCATION AT SHERIDAN MEMORIAL IS COMING UP

There'll be a fundraiser this Saturday that will help benefit diabetes education at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, in particular their strip assistance program. Diabetes Education Coordinator Patty-Bell Lewis gives us the particulars.

MILLION PENNY RELAY NUMBERS ARE IN!

It was a seed planted on our Sheridan Media country station, 93.7 the Coyote, KYTI. The seed germinated and our entire organization promoted it on all the stations. From there, the seed grew, and grew, and grew, blossoming into a huge community effort on behalf of Relay for Life, and today, we harvested the Million Penny Relay total.

SHERIDAN CITY COUNCIL HOLDS SPECIAL MEETING

The Sheridan City Council met in a special session yesterday to consider a grant application by Forward Sheridan. The grant would be a $25,000 planning only grant from the Wyoming Business Council. It would be part of the Community Development Block Grant program and must be applied for by the City on Forward Sheridan’s behalf. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey...
