Several of our local legislator's appeared on KROE'S Public Pulse program Thursday. The topic of Governor Freudenthal's budget cuts to state agencies in the amount of $231 million was addressed.

The Wyoming Career Readiness Certificate Initiative celebrates its first year in operation Thursday. The Initiative, administered by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, has issued over 760 certificates to Wyoming’s job seekers in the past year says Director Joan Evans.

The Three Twos, the Carhart Brothers, and the Boys from Acme are just some of the names that Mitch, Dave, and J.T. Craft are known by at the WYO Theater. In 1995 the Craft Brothers developed their Wild and Woolly WYO Show and it’s been a smash hit ever since. Both of last night’s performances were sold out weeks in advance.

The rodeo clown may be one of the most versatile occupations in the sport. Sheridan Media News Director Kurt Layher talked with one former clown about his rodeo life.

Anyone who has attempted to sell his or her home in the past year may have noticed the stagnation in the housing market. Members of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce were given a snapshot of the current real estate market at the Chamber’s monthly luncheon. Sheridan County had seen a continuous appreciation in real estate from 1994 until 2007.
