The 4th annual Big West Arts Festival will take place on the front lawn of Sheridan College this weekend. Festival Director Rod Dugal says that artists from all over the nation will be displaying their work for viewing and for sale.

Dugal tells us about some of the musicians who'll be performing over the weekend.

There is a change in the number of laboratory confirmed cases of swine flu in Sheridan County. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

The Diabetes Dirt Duathlon will take place two weeks from this Saturday at Forbes Ranch just south of Sheridan. One of the organizers for the event Rob Forister explains that participants will compete on foot and bike.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A Colorado economist says Wyoming should adopt a "taxpayers bill of rights" to limit spending.

The University of Colorado's Barry Poulson told the Wyoming Legislature's Interim Revenue Committee Tuesday that spending has increased at an unsustainable rate over the past decade.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi of Wyoming says the Senate Finance Committee is making a lot of progress but remains far from close to a compromise on health care reform.

Enzi is one of six committee members - three Republicans and three Democrats - who've been trying to hash out a compromise on a health care bill.

Downtown construction will continue for a few more months and as the Brooks Street project continues, traffic detours will continue to change. Next week drivers will have to take extra time to get to certain downtown locations.
