RANCHESTER TOWN COUNCIL APPROVES BUDGET ORDINANCE ON FIRST READING AND AGREEMENT WITH SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Ranchester Council discussed the budget and an agreement with the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office at their meeting Tuesday night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

The Town Council passed the budget ordinance on first reading with the understanding that the bottom line could change before the 3rd reading in July.

5TH ANNUAL BIG HORN MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL IS COMING UP IN JULY

In just over a month the 5th annual Big Horn Mountain Festival will take place at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Buffalo.

That's one of the organizers of the event Bill Bradshaw, who explains that the three day festival will get underway Friday July 10th and run through Sunday the 12th.

DOG AND CAT SHELTER OF SHERIDAN IS HOLDING THEIR ANNUAL RABIES CLINIC THIS WEEK

The Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan is holding their annual rabies clinic this week. The clinic will run from 8 A.M. to 1 P.M. each day this week through Saturday.

Shelter Director Cel Hope explains why pet owners should take advantage of the rabies clinic.

2009 SHERIDAN COUNTY FAIRBOOKS ARE IN

While the Sheridan County Fair is still a couple of months away, Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has some news about a fair related item that's just been released.

CARTOONING WORKSHOP WILL BE AT THE FULMER LIBRARY NEXT WEEK

The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will be home to a unique workshop next week. Program Coordinator for the Fulmer Library Anita Weisheit explains.

COMMUNITY GARDEN AT SHERIDAN COLLEGE IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD GREEN THUMBS

There is an acre of land at Sheridan College that will be used for a community garden this summer. If you'd like to get involved it's as easy as a phone call to the Sheridan Senior Center.

Project Manager Bobby Legerski describes the expectations for those interested in participating in the community garden.

Sheridan City Council will meet for their first meeting of the month tonight. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

One item under old business that will be up for 3rd and final reading is an ordinance dealing with the final plat and duration of validity.
