There's Something New At This Year's WYO Rodeo

The unofficial kickoff to the 2009 Sheridan WYO Rodeo is this Friday night with the Blake Shelton and Bucky Covington concert at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. Then of course rodeo week kicks off next Tuesday with boot kick off in Kendrick Park.

Free Clinic of Sheridan Continues to Grow

The Free Clinic of Sheridan opened its doors in March of 2005 to help provide medical care to those that otherwise couldn't afford it. Free Clinic Executive Director Kathy Kindt tells us about some areas where the clinic has expanded.

The Free Clinic is open one night a week says Kindt.

Earlier this week Sheridan Memorial Hospital mailed out their first quarterly newsletter to over 13 thousand households in Sheridan County. Hospital Marketing Manager Danae Brandjord.

Senator Enzi Comments On Health Care Reform

U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, a ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, gave a floor statement Thursday to address health care reform. Enzi stressed the importance of doing it right.

Enzi called for bipartisanship from his colleagues.

CHEYENNE, (AP) - A trial date has been set for a former Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper charged for an aborted murder plot allegedly designed to collect settlement money from Wal-Mart.

Campbell County Hospital Begins Expansion

GILLETTE, (AP) - Campbell County Memorial Hospital has begun construction of a $65 million expansion. Hospital officials held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday to kick off the project, which is expected to take three years to complete.
