The U.S. House Natural Resources Committee is considering a bill that would designate nearly 24 million acres of land across 5 states as wilderness area. Over 5 million acres would be affected in Wyoming, alone. The bill’s main sponsor is Democratic Representative Carolyn Maloney of New York.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 55-year-old Billings woman who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 has died in a fiery head-on crash with a semitrailer truck. The victim has been identified as Pamela Mangen of Billings.
