The Annual Friends Of The Library Auction Is Coming Up Soon

The 27th Annual Friends of the Library Benefit Auction is coming up in less than two weeks. Roger St. Clair will once again be the auctioneer and he will be auctioning off various items that have been donated by those throughout the community.

Dayton Town Council Addresses Meeting Dates Dilemma

The Dayton Town Council made quick work of a short agenda Monday night as the only item that Council took action on dealt with meeting dates in December and February. Dayton Mayor Bob Wood says it ended up that nothing needed to be changed for December.

Trailer Home Destroyed In Weekend Fire

Yesterday afternoon, the Sheridan Fire Rescue Department responded to a structure fire at 1700 Bender Lane in Sheridan. It was nearly 1:30 when crews arrived to find the home one quarter involved in fire. The fire was extinguished with windows and portions of the walls and ceiling removed to gain access to fire in hidden spaces.

Halloween Events Across Sheridan Very Popular This Year

From haunted houses to obstacle courses, this weekend certainly had events the whole family could enjoy throughout Sheridan. The Sheridan Recreation District turned the old Highland Park School into “Spook Central” for kids of all ages.
