Busy Halloween Day In Sheridan

The weather should be pleasant for trick-or-treating this Halloween with temperatures in the sixties this afternoon. It could be a very busy day for those who wish to try and attend all the scary festivities. The day kicks off with the annual Pet-o-Ween contest in Kendrick Park at 11 this morning.

Turn Clocks Back For The End Of Daylight Saving Time

It’s been a tradition in most parts of the world since the early 1900’s to try and save daylight in the summer by taking an hour off of the morning and putting it in the evening. What has become known as Daylight Saving Time was first recognized in the United States in 1918 during World War I.
