Wyoming News Service, Laramie, WY -- It's often called the "justice gap," affecting 50 million people across the country who can't afford legal help for civil court issues. Attorneys throughout the state are marking the first-ever National Pro Bono Celebration Week to recognize lawyers who donate their time to help those who can't afford legal fees.

Police Arrest Sheridan Man On Child Pornography Charges

Sheridan Police arrested 52-year-old Huntley Rinck on child pornography charges Tuesday. Rinck made his initial appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court yesterday. Rinck’s employer found a portable USB computer drive still attached to a computer at work. The employer viewed contents of the drive to attempt to identify the owner and immediately called police after seeing some of the files.

Powder River Basin Resource Council To Hold Annual Meeting In Sheridan

The 37th Annual Meeting of the Powder River Basin Resource Council will take place in Sheridan next week. PRBRC Board Member Nancy Sorenson tells us how the council got started.

This year’s meeting will have a special theme according to Board Chair Bob LaResche.
