State Court Rules Death Row Inmate Got Fair Trial

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A state district judge has ruled Wyoming's only death row inmate, Dale Wayne Eaton, received a fair trial before he received a death sentence in the 1988 rape and murder of a Montana woman.

Judge David B. Park of Casper released a written decision on Friday stating Eaton isn't entitled to any post-conviction relief.

Green River Man Gets 46 Months In Securities Fraud

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A federal judge has sentenced a Green River securities agent who bilked his clients out of more than $1 million to serve 46 months in federal prison.

U.S. District Judge Clarence Brimmer on Friday said Leo Timothy Buggy of Green River "just went nuts," when he started spending his clients' money.

State Archives Releases Wyoming Blue Books On CD

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming State Archives has released the Wyoming Blue Books on compact disc for the first time.

The Blue Books are a comprehensive guide to the state's history from pre-territorial days to 2007. The hardcopy version of the updated Blue Books were made available last year.

Montana Wolf Pack Produces Far-Flung Wanderers

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A wolf pack in Montana has produced at least two wayfaring members that roamed hundreds of miles, in one case getting as far south as Colorado.
