1st Annual Pink Link Fundraiser To Take Place October 24th

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation is sponsoring the 1st annual Pink Link fundraiser for breast cancer detection and prevention in Sheridan. Hospital Foundation Director Ada Kirven.

Kirven says that there will be a 10K run, a 5K run/walk, and a 1.5 mile walk.

WYO Theater To Celebrate 20 Years With Annual Gala

The WYO Theater is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, which makes this year's annual Gala fundraiser that much more special. WYO Theater Marketing Manager Erin Butler says that the Gala will reflect the rich tradition of the theater.

Wyoming Judge Rules In Favor Of Public River Access

CHEYENNE, (AP) - A district judge says a popular public fishing access site on the North Platte River will remain open. Casper-based Judge David Park on Monday ruled against area landowners who argued that a recreation easement the state purchased in the 1960s for the Lusby Public Fishing Area didn't entitle the public to reach the river.

Services Planned for Murdered Son of Sheridan Couple

A memorial service for Elijah Siler is scheduled for 11 o'clock eastern time today at Brownsville Assembly of God, 3100 W. Desoto St. in Pensacola, FL. Elijah, or "Eli" as he was called by family and friends, was the son of Sheridan residents George and Patricia Siler. He was gunned down on a Pensacola street on October 4th, and died of his wounds last Wednesday.

Fire Station Open House A Cold Affair

Near record low temperatures Saturday morning didn't deter the Sheridan Fire-Rescue department in their annual open house to coincide with National Fire Prevention Week. Hundreds of students visited the station last week and the public was given a chance Saturday to take a tour and see what goes on behind the scenes.
