Behind the Scenes Well Received

The Sheridan County Museum held their final “Behind the Scenes Saturday” over the weekend. The program that started in January was aimed at giving the public an up close and personal look at what goes on at the Museum on a day-to-day basis.

ASAP To Present Sexual Violence DVD Tonight In Buffalo

The Ambassadors for Sexual Assault Prevention, or ASAP, will give a screening of the DVD “Sexual Violence in Johnson County-A Community Speaks Out” tonight at the County Fire Hall in Buffalo.

Fire at Gas Storage Site

Firefighters are investigating what ignited a fiery explosion at a natural gas storage site in southwestern Wyoming over the weekend.

WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school got the annual spring "Dan Hansen" Sheridan invitational in on Saturday. In team scores the Broncs and Lady Broncs were both 6th.

In the girls standings Big Horn was 10th, Tongue River was 13th and Arvada / Clearmont was 18th.

The Boys results had Big Horn 7th and Tongue River 13th full results from the meet are on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

This week all state qualifiers are scheduled to compete at the Wyoming track classic Friday at Casper Kelly Walsh high school and Saturday kw will host the Casper Invitational

Johnson County Commissioners Discuss Recycling

At their last meeting the Johnson County Commissioners approved a catering permit for the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse for the upcoming Elk Foundation Dinner at the fairgrounds.

Wilkerson Found Guilty, Jo Co Attorney Gives Opinion

As we reported late Saturday night, a jury in Johnson County District Court found Richard Cameron Wilkerson guilty of second degree murder in the death of 45 year-old Brian Newman.
