STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND IS HERE

Don Julian takes the Broncs to their 2nd straight 4-A title game Saturday

WYOMING STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND - Two of the five Wyoming high school football state championship games will be played in Laramie this afternoon.

Little Snake River plays Hanna-Elk Mountain in the 6-Man game at noon. The Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A championship at 3:00.

2-A STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - The Big Horn Rams play Thermopolis tomorrow morning at 10:00 in the 2-A final.

SCJC Hosts Business After Hours

20th Annual Community Holiday Dinner is Fast Approaching

The 20th Annual Community Holiday Dinner in Sheridan will take place the first Sunday in December. A week from Saturday there will be a food drive at Albertson's, Safeway, Wal-Mart and Warehouse Market from 10 am to 1 pm.

Corner Stores Vanishing in Wyoming

A quick run to the corner store is an errand no longer possible in many rural areas of Wyoming as small grocery stores are disappearing. And while Sheridan may not be considered a rural area, Bino's Grocery did close their doors earlier this year after many years of service in the community.

Veteran's Day observed in Buffalo

Veteran's Day services were held in Buffalo Thursday

Veterans and their sacrifices made for this country were celebrated in Buffalo Thursday morning.

A color guard parade began the ceremonies at 11 am, followed by the Invocation and Pledge Of Allegiance led by Nels Lofgren, a former Sgt. in the US Air Force.

Veterans Honored at VA Ceremony

At 11 o'clock sharp in the VA Medical Center Auditorium Thursday morning, veterans were honored in the 2010 Veterans Day ceremony. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson has the report.
