More and More People Are Taking the E-File Route

In today's ever growing technological world it should come as no surprise that more and more Americans are filing their tax returns electronically. IRS Spokesperson Karen Connelly says that every year they are seeing an increase in those who e-file.

Pole Creek Challenge Race Saturday West of Buffalo

The Powder Pass Nordic Club will have their annual Pole Creek Challenge race this Saturday, February 4 at the Pole Creek Nordic Ski Area west of Buffalo.

TIPs Class Offered Saturday In Buffalo

A TIPs training class will be happening this Saturday in Buffalo at the Sheridan College in Johnson County campus from 9 am to 3 pm.

TIPs stands for Training in Intervention Procedures and is being offered to area alcohol servers as another tool to help them perform their jobs.

Jo Co HS Sports Weekend Underway, More Tonight & Saturday

Johnson County high school athletes will continue their busy weekend today and Saturday, after the weekend was kicked off Thursday night.
In basketball, the Bison boys' and girls' sophomores hosted Arvada-Clearmont's varsity teams last night at BHS, we'll have results when they are posted.
The BHS wrestlers took on the Outlaws in Rawlins last night and we'll have results when we get them.
Tonight, the Bison boys' basketball team will play at Wheatland while the girls will host the Lady Bulldogs. Game times for the boys and girls are 4, 5:30 and 7 both in Wheatland and Buffalo.

The City of Sheridan received some good news Thursday from the State in regards to phase two of the Wyoming Park project. The SLIB Board approved a $2.4 million drinking water state revolving fund loan with a principle forgiveness of $1.2 million.
