Events Set For Longmire Days, Oldies 105-9 Sponsors Ride

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce has announced that events for Buffalo's upcoming Longmire Days, August 17-18, have been finalized and Sherdian Media's Oldies 105-9 will be co-sponsoring, along with Paradise Guest Ranch, a horseback trail ride through the Big Horn Mountains with some of the actors from the television series.

Johnson County Fair and Rodeo Parade Saturday Morning

The Culminating event of the week-long fair and rodeo week in Johnson County, arguably, is the annual Fair and Rodeo Parade, which will happen this Saturday morning in Buffalo.

JCHC Board Adopts FY 2014 Operating Budget

At their Wednesday meeting, the Johnson County Healthcare Center's Board of Trustees reviewed and then adopted the Operating Budget for Fiscal year 2014.

Here are a few pictures from Thursday night's Match Bronc Riding at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. The show was put on by the Rocky Mountain Bronc Riders Association and was one of many events that took place during the first day of the Sheridan County Fair.

Miniature Horses Open County Fair Shows

Brett Reed recieves hall of fame award from WHSAA commisioner Ron Laird

Longtime Sheridan basketball and baseball official Brett Reed was recently inducted into the class of 2013 of the Wyoming sports officials hall of fame.

The ceremony was held in Casper during the Wyoming coaches association annual conference and all-star weekend.

Fatal Motorcycle Wreck in Sheridan County Wednesday

A motorcyclist from Saskatchewan, Canada died at the scene Wednesday of a wreck on U.S. Highway 14A just a few miles west of Burgess Junction in Sheridan County. Nina A. Fonger was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sergeant Stephen Townsend with the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
