An Award for a Good Decision

Deputy McPhillips presents 9-year-old Tongue River Elementary student Joshua Thayer with a "Good Decision" Award for finding a loaded weapon and seeking an adult to help him turn it in to law enforcement.

9-year-old Tongue River Elementary School student was awarded Wednesday during a school assembly for making a very wise decision.

Sheridan County Sheriff Dave Hofmeier explains why Joshua Thayer was given a “Good Decision Award” from Deputy McPhillips.

Statewide partners against child abuse gathered Wednesday at the State Capitol in Cheyenne as First Lady Carol Mead read a proclamation signed by Governor Matt Mead declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention month.

BRONC SOCCER AT HOME WITH CHEYENNE EAST TONIGHT

BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc soccer team hosts a conference match tonight they host Cheyenne East games are at 4:00 and 6:00 and tomorrow they host Cheyenne Central also at 4:00 and 6:00.

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc will play at central tomorrow and East Saturday they've won three in a row and Head coach Tom Racette says they girls are on a good run right now.

And he says the scoring is up this season they are averaging three goals in the last three games but they do have some area's where they need to work.
