SHERIDAN AND BIG HORN STATE FOOTBALL PREVIEW

Swarming Bronc Defense

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - The Wyoming state football championships will be played in Laramie Friday and Saturday there will be two games Friday with Snake River playing Hanna-Elk Mountain in the 6-Man game at noon.

The Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A game at 3:00.

There will be three games Saturday starting with the Big Horn Rams playing Thermopolis at 10:00.

The 1-A final will kickoff at 1:00 and will have Cokeville against Lusk followed by the Sheridan Broncs and Natrona county Mustangs at 4:00.

The Sheridan Dog & Cat Shelter honored Governor Dave Freudenthal and Mayor Dave Kinskey in a ceremony Tuesday at the shelter for their help in getting a walking path and exercise yard for the dogs.

The groundbreaking for the Green House for Living in Sheridan facility was held Tuesday afternoon.

4th Judicial District Court News

There were two arraignments in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday. The first was for 18-year-old Sheridan resident Patrick Mayfield, who is charged with one count of Felony Larceny and one count of Felony Burglary.

Capitol Christmas Tree will stop in Buffalo

The 65-foot conifer from Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest that will be making its way to the Nation's Capitol will have a party thrown for it when it stops in Buffalo next Monday night.
