Sheridan County Year in Review: October Through December

With today being the final day of 2012, we conclude our series on the year in review for Sheridan County with a look back at October through December. October was all about breast cancer awareness, as the 4th annual “Link-Partners in Pink,” breast cancer awareness walk/run was held in Sheridan.

Next Tuesday, January 8th, the 62nd Wyoming Legislature will convene in Cheyenne at noon.

LOCAL SPORTS BACK IN ACTION THIS WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams are off until Thursday when they open a tournament in Riverton.

The open Thursday against Casper Kelly Walsh and we will have both games live for you with the Lady Broncs at 5:30 and the Broncs at 7:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams start 2013 at home against Wright Friday while the Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles restart their season on Friday as well with home games against Moorcroft.

Saturday night the Kalif Shrine became a tropical paradise for the 2nd annual Winter Wilderness Holiday Ball, a fundraiser for the Wyoming Wilderness Association.
