TROOPERS BACK IN ACTION THIS WEEKEND / PLAY AT HOME SUNDAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play a double header in Sturgis, South Dakota tomorrow and then back home for two Sunday with Riverton. They end their regular season with a double header Monday in Miles City, Montana.

The Troops went unbeaten in conference play and will take a 38-9 record into action this weekend.

The season will change next week as the post season begins and we asked Head coach Ben Phillips if his approach to coaching the team would change at all once the tournament season starts.

Joe Crump and the WWC Engineering team landed 1st place at the 4th annual Blue Ribbon Steak Cook-Off Thursday night.

The 4th annual Blue Ribbon Steak Cook-Off was one of the highlights of the 3rd Thursday Street Festival in downtown Sheridan. Six teams squared off to take home this year's top prize, but when the smoke cleared, it was Joe Crump and the team from WWC Engineering that won first place.

Off to a great start! The Sheridan 14 Year Old Baseball Team – The Calvary – Won Game 1: 16 to 5 against Powell. Game 2: 14 to 3 against Powell. Game 3 is Friday morning at 9am when The Calvary take on Gillette.

SCSD#1 Approves FY2013 Budget

Sheridan County School District #1 approved their $14.4 million operations budget Wednesday night.
