The Johnson County School District is contemplating implementing RTI, or Response To Intervention at the district's secondary schools, according to Kathy Camino, who gave a report to the school board at a recent meeting.

Beginning in November, the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter will no longer be open to the public on Wednesdays. Shelter Executive Director Cel Hope says that the reason for the closure is because Wednesday is typically the slowest day at the shelter.

State Cross country / Regional volleyball / Football Playoffs

Bronc Junior Taylor Bruso finished 15th

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships ran under sunny skies Saturday in Sheridan.

The Broncs and Lady broncs finished 10th and 11th respectively Head coach Art Bauers the state meet was a great learning experience for the young Sheridan runners.

And he says with the talent coming back the future of both programs looks great.
