Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp Inmate Escapes

Escaped Inmate Derrick Lee Brock

An inmate serving seven to ten years for larceny was reported on escape status by the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp Friday at 6:30 am, after he was discovered missing while on work detail at the State Fairgrounds in Douglas.

Seen the New Fall Color(s) - PINK?

Fall started at 3:04 am Friday in Sheridan and the fall color is definitely "Pink" - at least at Sheridan High School. The "Broncs are all in Pink" tee-shirts are all sold out, as evidenced by the photo, for the 2nd Annual Pink Bronc Day of September 23rd. All funds raised support the Welch Cancer Center as the check for $2,015.00 indicates.

Sheridan High School students can be seen wearing pink Friday, along with others in the community, after students sold more than 500 t-shirts to raise more than $2,000 for the Welch Cancer Center.

'Hillbilly 'Limpics' Winners Earn Tickets to Cowboys/Huskers Game

The inaugural Sheridan Media "Hillbilly 'Limpics" were held Thursday night at Fremont Toyota, with contestants showing off their skills in different hillbilly-themed tasks in an attempt to win tickets to Saturday's much-anticipated Wyoming/Nebraska game.
