One Percent Committee Gives Jo Co Their Recommendations

The Johnson County Commissioners, at their meeting this week, got the recommendations for funding from the One-Percent Committee for the next two years.

Weekend High School Sports Preview For Johnson County

Buffalo High School's sports teams were expected to get back in action this weekend after some weather-related cancellations and postponements over the last week or so, but that will not be the case for some.

Friday and Saturday nights at the Buffalo High School Auditorium, the Limelight Dance Factory will present their recital beginning at 6:30 both nights.

Buffalo Chamber Visits Boise For RMI

Last week, Angela Jarvis and Rachel McCaughey traveled to Boise, Idaho to take part in this year's RMI, or Rocky Mountain International show.

Last year's RMI was hosted by Buffalo and the Chamber of Commerce.

SC's SkillsUSA Team Brings Home Trophy, Medals

Sheridan College announced Thursday its own SkillsUSA student team brought home the "Outstanding College Chapter" trophy and its students swept many categories in a competition in Casper earlier this week.

According to data from the Wyoming Department of Education, Wyoming schools experienced an enrollment growth of over 1,500 students in 2012-2013. The data indicates that there are 90,993 students attending schools this year in the Cowboy State.
