Buffalo City Attorney Updates Council On Projects

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven gave a report to the city council on a number of projects he is working on, starting with the easements on the NW water line project.

It was definitely a winning combination on Saturday morning when the Northern Wyoming Walleyes Unlimited organization and other volunteers hosted veterans from the Sheridan VA Medical Center Extended Care Unit at Fort Mackenzie for a day on Lake DeSmet.

There were two tournament finals played on Sunday August 26, at the BHEC -

1:00 The Adler Welding & Fabrication Cup; and at 3:00 the CHAPS Benefit Cup sponsored by Morton Buildings.

In the Adler Welding Cup, Pony Bar & Grill defeated Big Horn Beverage, 7-3.

MVP, sponsored as always by Kiwi Katering, was Kirby Taylor of Pony Bar & Grill.

Best Playing Pony was "Camille", owned and played by Wayne Garrison.

FULL LOCAL FOOTBALL SEASON OPENS FRIDAY / VOLLEYBALL ACTION TONIGHT

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams beat Thermopolis 27-7 last Friday in their preseason scrimmage game and this Friday they play for real at Greybull

Head coach Micheal McGuire says the Rams looked good against the Bobcats.

And he says getting the players in the film room this week will make them so much better in this week's
game.

Greybull won their scrimmage last week and McGuire says this will be a good non-conference opener for the Rams.
