STATE X-COUNTRY - The state cross country championships will be in Sheridan Saturday at the VA medical center, the boys 4-A race will start the competition at 10:30.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball will head to Cheyenne Friday for their regional tournament at East high school they open with the host team at 11:00 Friday morning.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Lady Rams will be in Wright for the 2-A East regional starting Friday. The Lady Eagles play Burns at noon the Lady Rams play Saratoga at 2:00.

Council Adopts Railroad District Plan

Since 2004 when the Sheridan Railroad Historic District was formed, 11 of the historic buildings within the district have been demolished. A Master Plan for the district was put together and approved by the Sheridan City Council Monday that will help ensure the integrity of the area.

Local Business Brews Up Winners

The Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan recently won two medals at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. There were over 700 breweries that entered the competition, with 4,800 beers judged in 84 different categories.

Council Approves Flood Plan On Second Reading

The City of Sheridan is in the process of adopting a new flood plain ordinance in accordance with the new flood insurance rate maps that will take effect early next year. The Sheridan City Council approved the new ordinance on second reading at their meeting Monday night.

Council Hears Railroad District Plan

The Sheridan City Council will receive a presentation tonight from Edre Maier regarding the Master Plan for the Historic Railroad District. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey explains the area of the city where the railroad district is located.


BRONC FOOTBALL - The mistake prone Sheridan Broncs fell at home against Natrona county Friday night 38-20 Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs close out the regular season at home Friday night against Cheyenne South. It's senior night with the presentation of seniors starting at 6:00 the game will kickoff at 7:00.
