BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs close out the regular season at home tonight against Cheyenne South.

South has one win this season that was the school's first 4-A league victory ever and Broncs Head coach Don Julian says the Bison are a dangerous team.

And with playoff home field advantage on the line the Broncs face a must win scenario tonight.

We will have the game live tonight on KWYO and 87.7 FM the First Federal pregame starts at 6:30, kickoff is at 7:00.

County Creates Emergency Team

Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly is currently working to build a Damage Assessment Team with the help of Buffalo's Building Inspector.

Weekend Preview For Buffalo, Kaycee HS Sports

The Buffalo High School football team, winless at 0-7 this season, will be looking for their first win on the road against Rawlins tonight. Kickoff between the Bison and the Outlaws will be at 6 o'clock.
Both teams' seasons are done after the game.

Kaycee's Buckaroos football team will be home against Guernsey on Saturday. Kickoff is at 3pm. The winner will take the #2 seed in the 1A 6-man East.

County Commission On Ownership Of Lands

Land ownership on three parcels in southern Johnson County was discussed by the county commissioners at their last meeting.
The three parcels had recently been discovered to belong to the county, which had acquired them because of unpaid back taxes.

College Offers CPR/First Aid Classes

Sheridan College in Johnson County will be offering CPR and First Aid Certification classes beginning Saturday at the campus on South Main Street in Buffalo.

The CPR Certification class will run from 9am until noon and the First Aid Certification class will run from 1 to 4pm.

Rams and Eagles to End the Regular Season

Open House Set For Retiring G&F Official

We reported earlier this month that longtime Wyoming Game and Fish employee Warren Mischke would be retiring in early November after 36 years with the department, 18 of which were in Sheridan as the regional information specialist.

Local Brew Now Available in Stores

Earlier this year, The Black Tooth Brewing Company in Sheridan began canning their award winning brew. Recently, one of those brews has started showing up for purchase at several liquor stores in Sheridan as well as other establishments around the region.
