Sheridan P.D. to Go to a VIN and HIN Inspection Schedule Soon

Beginning July 1st, the Sheridan Police Department will be conducting VIN and HIN inspections on a schedule basis only. Currently the P.D. does inspections pretty much anytime throughout the week.

Jo Co Commission Hires New Assistant

The Johnson County Commissioners extended an offer of employment for the commissioner's assistant position that will become vacant with the retirement this Friday of current assistant Peggy Sillivan.

Buffalo Council Denies Waiving of Fees for County

The Buffalo City Council, at their meeting Tuesday night, denied a request from the Johnson County Commissioners to waive the fees associated with the proposed new recycling center which the county is funding.

Rate Increases Approved By Sheridan City Council

Sheridan residents will notice an increase in their water and sewer bill effective July 1, as the Sheridan City Council approved the increase as part of their budget for the fiscal year.

Cole Ponce Wins @ Bull Riding

Cole Ponce, from Big Horn, wrapped up a great weekend with a first place 70-point ride on Bull "707" Sunday coming on the heels of this 64-point ride for 3rd place on Saturday and a 4th Place finish in Buffalo on Friday.
