Bison, Lady Bison Soccer Teams Await Opponents At State

The matchups for the 3A soccer playoffs have been announced by Wyopreps.com, and both the Bison and Lady Bison teams will await the outcomes of State Qualifying games this weekend to know who their opponents will be at State.

The 3A State Qualifying Games will have the boys at Riverton and the girls at Lander this weekend.
For the boys, Cody will play Torrington this Friday, with the winner moving on to play the Bison in the first round at the State Tournament. Pinedale and Douglas will play in the other Friday qualifier for the chance to play Worland at State.

BRONC GOLFERS MAKE IT 31 IN A ROW

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers hosted their spring invitational yesterday day at Kendrick golf course.

The Sheridan Broncs made it 31 consecutive tournament wins. Senior Kamrin Allen won the event with a round of 69, Chris Cremer shot 74, Ben Wollenzien shot 77, Jack Mavrakis 78 and Andrew Giorgis 80.

The spring golf season will end with the 4-A east conference tournament in Casper starting Monday.

TRACK AND FIELD - Regional track meets will be held Friday and Saturday at various sites around the state.

The Sheridan City Council Monday night gave their approval to have Mayor Dave Kinskey sign an agreement with Neltje authorizing the gift of five acres of land in the Wrench Ranch Hills Subdivision.

Special Olympic Torch In Buffalo

The Special Olympic Torch passed through Buffalo around noon on Monday on its way to the State Summer Games in Laramie this weekend. The torch was scheduled to pass through Kaycee later in the day. Four Sheridan Residents Arrested for Alleged Meth Distribution Ring

A news release issued by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation states that four individuals were arrested in Sheridan over the weekend on drug distribution charges. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.
