PAC Donations Scrutinized by Political Watchdogs

The Center for Responsive Politics reports Wyoming's congressional race has already raised more than half a million dollars. Sheila Krumholz, executive director of the center, said this year's funds are some of the most suspicious in history.

Officials Update Buffalo Crowd On Gilead Fire Situation

Mark Booth, with the USFS Bighorn National Forest, addresses the crowd Sunday evening about the Gilead Fire.

A public information meeting was held Sunday night in Buffalo to update those interested in the situation with the Gilead Fire, burning in the Bighorn National Forest approximately 10 miles NW of Buffalo.

Week in Review

It's once again time to take a look at the week that was in the news with our week in review. The week began with the announcement of 21 individuals in Sheridan being arrested for methamphetamine distribution. The bust was part of a two year long investigation that resulted in three more arrests throughout the week, with more arrests possible in the future as the investigation into the meth ring is ongoing.

Mikah Sweeny Wins JV Crosscountry

On a hot last day of August on the grounds of the Sheridan VAMC at Fort Mackenzie it was freshman Mikah Sweeny to come in first during the 5th Annual Running of the Michelle Ludwig Invitational Crosscountry Meet. In the varsity meet Sheridan's top runners were Kyle Dietsche who finished in 9th place for the boys and Katie Rotellini who finished in 19th place for the girls.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs ran into a tough Natrona county team Friday night.

NC took a 1`4-3 halftime lead then blew the game open with three quick scores to start the second half and put the game away early and went onto to beat the Broncs 38-13.

Next up for the Broncs another road trip to the Capitol city to play Cheyenne south next Friday.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams dominated Greybull in their season opener Friday night with a 49-6 victory.
