Sheridan County continues to implement their comprehensive plan that they adopted in 2008, as County Commissioners Tuesday approved a Notice of Intent to rezone land around Ranchester from Urban Residential to Agricultural. Commission Chair Steve Maier.

Weston Johnson

WESTON JOHNSON FUNDRAISER - The Sheridan high school football coaches along with the SHS booster club will be kicking off a fund raising event Thursday night at the Sheridan high school basketball games to benefit football assistant coach Weston Johnson as he battles Melanoma.

Head coach Don Julian has close ties with Johnson as he was part of the recruiting process that brought Johnson to UW to play football.

Julian says Johnson's battle with Melanoma started years ago when he was still in high school in Colorado.


1-A / 2-A REGIONAL HOOPS - The post season begins Thursday for Tongue River, Big Horn and Arvada/Clearmont basketball teams.

TR is hosting their regional the Lady Rams will open the tournament with Burns that game is scheduled to lead off the day at 10:00 the Lady Eagles play Pine Bluffs in the late game at 8:00 pm.

The Eagles will play Pine Bluffs at 3:30 and the Rams will play Southeast at 6:30.
