2011 4-A STATE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS!!!

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs ended the volleyball season as the 4-A state champs Saturday in Casper it's the first title for the lady bronc program since 1986.

They beat Laramie 3-1 to win the championship Head coach Wendy Ruby says they made a great run late in the season including winning the regional tournament.

And she says the Lady Broncs proved that small teams can win championships.

Gov. Mead Looking Forward to Business Forum

Bison Down Star Valley, Advance to Meet Douglas

The Buffalo Bison football team will advance to the semifinals in the 3A High School Football Playoffs after downing the Star Valley Braves 24-13 Friday night in Afton.
Buffalo jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, 14 to 7 at the half and led by a score of 24-7 in the third quarter and held on for
the win.
The Bison will travel to take on Douglas on Friday in the semifinals.
In 1A 6-man football, Kaycee crushed Hanna/Elk Mountain 73-13 on Friday and will advance to take on Little Snake River this week.
Midwest will face Dubois in their semifinal game.

JCHC Agrees to Terms with Blue Cross Blue Shield

The Johnson County Healthcare Center and Blue Cross/Blue Shield have reached an agreement for the hospital and clinic to continue providing services to BCBS clients, according to Hospital Administrator Sandy Ward.
