Council to Hold Several Work Sessions on College Bond Issue

The Sheridan City Council made the decision to hold several work sessions regarding the Sheridan College $15.8 million bond issue to renovate and expand the Technical Education Center at the College. Council President John Heath.

TROOPERS WIN TWO / WYO RODEO WEEK SET TO BEGIN

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers won two games on the first day of a tournament in Cheyenne.

The Troops blew out Wheatland 19-9 and beat the Colorado Instructional team 14-4 they continue today with a single game against the Cheyenne Hawks.

The next home date is Monday July 15th when they host a double header with Laramie the first game will start at 5:30 and we will have it live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

2013 SHERIDAN WYO RODEO - Sheridan WYO rodeo activities start today and tomorrow with the playing of the Chris Ledoux memorial golf tournament at the Powder Horn.

Senator Bruce Burns Lights Up the Sky

Red, White and Blue filled the sky over the Big Horn Equestrian Center Thursday evening as Senator Bruce Burns and his crew filled the sky with over thirty minutes of show and awe. Near the end of the show a big heart and smiley face lit up the sky - perhaps that was Bruce's way of showing that he has a big heart to go with that ever present smile on his face.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - One of two people injured in the crash of a single-engine airplane near Fort Smith remained hospitalized Wednesday.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming officials have scheduled the first public meeting about the state's plans to take over an investigation of groundwater pollution in the Pavillion area.

The Pavillion working group will meet Aug. 2 at the Riverton Holiday Inn.
