TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings today they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips the competition in this tournament will be good for the Troopers.

And he says he feels confident the Troops will play well especially after the way they played last week in Cheyenne.

The Carnival is in Town

Isis and Jr. Sio anxiously awaiting the ride to start.

It might be Rodeo Week here in Sheridan, but when the rodeo is here, so is the carnival. Wednesday night was “Family Night” with discounted prices for rides and it was crowded.

Buffalo Council Approves Purchase Of Dump Truck

The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, approved the purchase of a dump truck, as requested by City Works Director Les Hook.

For those that use Buffalo's outdoor pool, this weekend may find you at the lake or sitting in the creek somewhere to satisfy your need for a dip in the water, as the pool will be closed to the public for the First Annual Kate Holt Memorial Swim Meet.

Contract Awarded To Sampson Sheet Metal By Jo Co Comm

Johnson County's Commissioner's, at Tuesday's meeting, awarded the contract to provide heating and air conditioning service to the County's Annex A building to Rex Sampson and Sampson Sheet Metal of Buffalo.
