BRONC FOOTBALL HONORING VETERANS FRIDAY NIGHT

Sheridan high school is going to do military/veteran appreciation tommrrow night at the Bronc / Natrona county at the game.

Veterans from the VA will be attending the game, and the Broncs would like to extend an invite to all active or veteran military personnel to come to the game.

They will be able to attend the game at no charge and we will honor them at half time. It will also be Sheridan high school's Pink night for breast cancer awareness.

BIG WEEK OF HOME FOOTBALL FOR THE BRONCS AND RAMS / EAGLES ON THE ROAD

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Natrona county Friday night. We will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO starting at 6:30 with the First Federal pregame show kickoff is at 7:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams host Moorcroft Friday at 1:00 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM Ron Richter will have the play by play.

The Rams are coming off two victories last week on the road at Glenrock Monday then at Wheatland Friday, Head coach Micheal McGuire.

WYOMING COWGIRLS SELECTED MWC PRESEASON NUMBER TWO / SHERIDAN'S KAYLA WOODWARD SELECTED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Former Lady Bronc and Cowgirl Junior Kayla Woodward was selected at the preseason conference player of the year.

Voting came from the conference's coaches and selected women's basketball media.

It's the highest preseason selection for the Cowgirls since the 2007-08 season. Fresno state won the league tournament last spring and was installed as the preseason favorite.

The cowgirls open their exhibition season in Sheridan November 8th when they play Northern Montana in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.

Hill Committee Meets In Buffalo

The Special Investigative Committee set up to look into allegations of mismanagement of the State Department of Education by Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill met in Buffalo Tuesday morning.

Buffalo Council Hands Off School

Buffalo's City Council, during their Tuesday meeting, approved the transfer of the old Clear Creek School building from the city to the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.

Johnson County Approves Boundary Line Adjustments

At their meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commissioners approved three separate boundary line adjustments brought before them by County Planner Rob Yingling.

Yes, Julia Fenn is undefeated as a Lady Bronc No. 1 singles tennis player and has two State 4A Championship Titles to her credit - so far and she's just a Sophomore.

Student Gives Spear-O-Wigwam Perspective

Bar Association Offers Free Advice

October 20-26 in National Pro Bono week, and the Sheridan County Bar Association has scheduled a free legal advice clinic that will take place next week in Sheridan. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
