In less than a week, the McDonald's in Wal-Mart in Sheridan will be closing its doors after almost seventeen years of business there.

SC AT CASPER COLLEGE TONIGHT / UW FALLS TO SDSU

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Casper college tonight.

The Lady Generals are 17-2 and coming off a big road win in Miles City Saturday Head coach Frank McCarthy.

They've won nine in a row and McCarthy says this is a big week with Casper tonight and Gillette at home Saturday.

The Powder Pass Nordic Club will present their annual Pole Creek Challenge race Saturday, February 4 at the Pole Creek Nordic Ski Area west of Buffalo.

Report to NWCCD: JAC Looking Closely At Budgets

At the meeting held in Buffalo this week, the Northern Wyoming Community College District received a report from Dr. Mark Englert, who had been at the recent Joint Appropriation Committee meetings where funding for the state's community colleges and the University of Wyoming were discussed.

Johnson County HS Team Standings, Schedules For This Week

Buffalo High School's basketball teams are struggling at the moment but still in the middle of the pack in the 3A East standings this week.
After splitting their games last weekend, the Bison boys are now third in the 3A East, 4-2 in conference play and 6-6 overall.
They will host Douglas Friday and Worland on Saturday.
The Lady Bison also split their games last weekend and are now fifth in the 3A East with a 3-3 conference mark, 5-7 overall.
They will also host Douglas Friday and Worland Saturday.

JCSD1 Approves Report to Community With Minor Changes

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead has proposed a $64 million dollar cut out of his budget request to the Joint Appropriations Committee, which is in the process of “marking up” the Governor's proposed budget.
