JCSD1 Admins To Board: Why We Support Common Core

At their meeting this week, the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees heard a report from Dr. Jeannie Iberlin on why the district's administration is in support of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC).

Buffalo Now Has Drop-off Drug Box

A new green “lock box” at the Buffalo/Johnson County Criminal Justice Center will possibly encourage residents to safely dispose of unused prescription drugs in Buffalo.

Lady Rams Sweep the Lady Eagles - Again

On Thursday evening in Dayton the Tongue River Lady Eagles may have had their pink on but the Big Horn Lady Rams had their game on and swept the evening 25 - 17, 25 - 19 & 25 - 16 as they also swept the season against their cross-district rivals.

The fall beauty of the Big Horn area at 8:00 am Thursday as viewed from Bird Farm Road (County Road 28) heading down the hill into Big Horn. Big Horn lost many tree limbs and branches during the recent storm but many remain for all to view and enjoy.

Good Weather + New Equipment = Great Fun
