Senior VP of Lowe's to Speak at Workforce Summit

Lowe's Senior VP Steve Szilagyi will speak at the Governor's Summit on Workforce Solutions.

The Wyoming Workforce Development Council has announced that one of the speakers at the upcoming Governor’s Summit on Workforce Solutions will be Lowe's Senior VP Steve Szilagyi.

“Buck” Shown for FFA Scholarship Fundraiser

As a means to introduce the Sheridan community to an award-winning documentary about Sheridan resident Buck Brannaman while at the same time raising money for a worthy cause, the creators of “Buck” have agreed to show a special screening of the film to viewers this Saturday night, June 4th at the WYO Theatre.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL - Sheridan high school will be out this week for the summer and as athletes get ready for the off season we sat down with Sheridan high school football coach and Activities Director Don Julian to talk about this past school year.

It was a busy spring in 2011 with Sheridan hosting regional track and field and state soccer on back to back weekends.

Over all the sports year started and ended with a Bronc state championship.

Time for a Hershey - A Hershey Track Meet That Is

On a beautiful make-up day the Hershey track meet went off without a hitch on Tuesday afternoon on Scott Field in Sheridan. In the age 9-10 girl's 200 Meter Dash Chloe Schilling took 1st Place with a time of 27.41 as she comes across the finish line in lane #5 wearing her "I Love My Puppy" shirt.

Sunday afternoon The Class of 2011 Commencement Ceremony was held at the Big Horn High School. Valedictorian, Colby Wollenman and Salutatorian, Nelson Alzheimer addressed the audience and the 29 other Seniors who were about to graduate.
