Name of the Man Shot Monday Night Has Been Released

Jesse Salveson, 23, of Sheridan died from the results of his injuries from a gunshot wound he received during an officer involved shooting that occurred Monday, July 4th on west Nebraska Street in Sheridan, according to Deputy Coroner Kerrie Kimmel.

The Big Horn Mountain Festival will begin Friday and run through Sunday, but the actual kickoff to the event is the Bluegrass Camp For Kids, which starts Wednesday and goes through Friday.

THE 81ST SHERIDAN WYO RODEO OPENS A WEEK FROM TODAY

81ST WYO RODEO - The four performances of the 81st WYO rodeo opens on the a week from today.

The week will start with the "Chris Ledoux" golf tournament at the Powder Horn Friday and Saturday, the boot kick off will take place Saturday at Sheridan college.

The first slack performance will be next Tuesday at the Sheridan county fairgrounds.
