Governor Travels to Australia for Coal Conference

Wyoming's Governor Matt Mead and researchers from the University of Wyoming are traveling to Australia next week to participate in the 2014 International Advanced Coal Technology Conference.

Lady Broncs Take 3rd Place At State Tournament

The Sheridan Lady Broncs defeated school rivals, the Gillette Lady Camels, and ended their season, taking 3rd place in the state basketball tournament!

UW Receives Grant to Benefit Nursing Program

The Jonas Center for Nursing and Veterans Healthcare has awarded a $10,000 grant to the University of Wyoming School of Nursing. Matched by another $10,000 from the school, the grant will provide a scholarship for a student in the university’s Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.

Celtic at the Market

Shoppers at Warehouse Market in Sheridan were treated to a special performance by Celtic Sage Friday, as the group set up shop in front of Killy's Smokehouse Deli for about an hour to play some traditional Irish music.

6th Grade Boys Basketball Team

They played in the Power to Play Sports-Wyoming Winter Championship in Cheyenne on Sunday, March 9th. They won the Championship for the 6th grade boys division.
