Monday was the kick-off of the week-long Community Vacation Bible School held at Sheridan's YMCA. Inflatables, snacks, games, teaching, the theme this year is "Son" Treasure Island.

A Look Back in Time: June 17, 1914

The city council this morning awarded the contract for grading a portion of Brooks Street. The street will be graded between Whitney and Burkitt Streets, behind the courthouse. Contractor is M.J. Conley, whose bid was just over $1,300.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are back at practice today getting ready for three game games this weekend. they will play at Thorne-Rider stadium Friday night hosting a single game with Cheyenne, first pitch will be at 6:00.

Head coach Ben Phillips talked about the importance of their pitching yesterday he says today getting back to the basics each week is what will make them better as they head into the final month of the regular season.
