Man gets 4 life terms for sexually abusing minor

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - A 28-year-old Rock Springs man accused of sexually abusing a minor has been sentenced to four separate life prison terms.

It's becoming a Sheridan tradition as over a hundred music lovers filled the Sheridan Holiday Inn's atrium Saturday, to enjoy the 14th annual Sheridan Tuba Christmas.

County Again Tables Contract For Mikesell-Potts

The annual contract between the county and Wyoming Game and Fish to provide maintenance on the boat ramps and restrooms at the Mikesell-Potts Recreation Area was tabled until January, to give Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago more time to discuss some wording changes in the contract with the Game and Fish.

Weekend Results From Johnson County HS Sports

Buffalo and Kaycee high school athletes had a busy weekend again, and most fared well in competition.

The Bison basketball team was at the Bighorn Basin Basketball Classic hosted by Rocky Mountain high School, and the boys finished the tournament in second place.

City Approves Final Payment on West Pipeline Project

The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, approved a request from City Works Director Les Hook for final payment to Barnum Construction after they completed work on a campground west of town connected to the west pipeline project.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams went 5-1 at the Flaming Gorge classic.

The Lady Broncs didn't get much of a challenge with three blowout victories Head coach Jessica Pickett.

They stand at 6-1 overall heading into the Christmas break and Pickett says they'll go back to work in a few days to get ready for the new year which begins January 9th in Riverton.
