Kinskey Sworn in as Senator

Former Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey of Sheridan was sworn in as a member of the 62nd Wyoming Legislature today in the Senate Chambers of the Wyoming Capitol in Cheyenne.

New Superintendent Attends First Board Meeting

Future Johnson County School District Board of Trustees meetings will have a new dynamic and seating arrangement, as the new superintendent Gerry Chase officially sat at the head of the table at yesterday evening's meeting.

Deadline Nears for Fair Entries

Organizers of the Johnson County Fair and Rodeo say make sure to submit open class exhibits before the upcoming deadline.

Troopers win, final home date tomorrow night / Football - Soccer - Volleyball youth camps / Hoffman days coming in August

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat Laramie Monday afternoon 10-2 and will play their final home date of the season tomorrow.

The Troops banged out 13 hits with Connor McCafferty going four for four with a triple and three singles.

Blake Godwin started the game and got the win with relief help from McCafferty Head coach Ben Phillips says it was a good solid victory.

Godwin started the game and had a good outing keeping the troops in through six innings.

Kinskey to be Sworn In

The swearing-in ceremony for Senator-Elect Dave Kinskey of Sheridan will be held this morning, at 8:30, in the Senate Chambers of the Wyoming Capitol in Cheyenne.

Prior to Saturday's final rodeo performance the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty for 2015 was announced and Sheridan's 21-year Bailie Van Leuven stepped forward to receive the hat tiera crown and rodeo queen sash before mounting her horse, Opie, for her first wave as the 2015 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen.
