5th Street Open Again for 2-way Traffic

At precisely 2:02 pm Friday, Shelli Vits of 4 Seasons Lawn Care drives the first non-construction vehicle east bound on 5th Street through the Main Street intersection as she follows the Anderson Sign truck that carries the street barricade signs that have long stood at 5th and Val Vista - 5th Street is now officially open for two-way traffic, again.

City Department Heads Meet to Discuss Rocky Mountain Recommendation

The department heads for the City of Sheridan met for nearly three hours Friday morning to discuss the panel committee's recommendation of Rocky Mountain Ambulance Service to provide EMS to the citizens of Sheridan.

Sheridan woman first from Wyoming to serve twice as ambassador

Jeanine E. Jackson, of Sheridan, was confirmed by the Senate Thursday as Ambassador to the African Republic of Malawi, making her the first person from Wyoming to serve two times as an ambassador.

122 New Laws Are Now in Effect In Wyoming

Changes are in effect to the way Law Enforcement can handle DUI stops.

There are now 122 new laws in effect in Wyoming that range from sex offenders now having to provide their physical address of their school or work as well as their email addresses and phone numbers; to a law allowing people to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

City of Sheridan Now Has One More Bar and Grill License

The City of Sheridan now has one more available Bar and Grill License.

In order to meet the state's growing population, the Wyoming State Legislature this past session passed a bill to expand the number of bar and grill liquor licenses available to municipalities.

Jo Co School Board Approves Bid for Electronic Keys

The Johnson County School Board approved a bid for a district-wide electronic entry system for the schools.

Blood Drive July 5th in Buffalo
