NWCCD Revisiting Strategic Plan

Sheridan College President Dr. Paul Young told the Board of Trustees at their monthly meeting Wednesday night that the he will meet with college directors this Friday to discuss a new strategic plan.

Ft. Mac Students Building Benches for South Park

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team loads the bus tomorrow for Evanston in a big early season 4-A showdown.

Both teams are 2-1 heading into the game the Broncs had no problem with Cheyenne South last week but Head coach Don Julian says they got some good things out of that victory.

The match up with the Red Devils tomorrow is big in the fact it could come into play late in the year for playoff seeding.

Buffalo City Work Dept. Makes Report to Council

City Works Director Les Hook reported on a number of projects at last week’s council meeting, and requested consideration of the purchase of a needed piece of equipment.

1A, 3A Football Rankings, Schedules for Week 3

The high school football rankings for week 3 have been released and the top team in 3A again is the Green River Wolves. Powell is ranked #2, Douglas is #3, Lander is fourth and Buffalo rounds out the top five.
Top-ranked Green River will host #5 Buffalo on Friday. Second-ranked Powell will travel to Torrington. Number three Douglas will host Star Valley and fourth-ranked Lander will host Jackson.
In Class 1A Six-man, the number one spot goes to Little Snake River, number two is Kaycee, followed by Dubois at three and Hulett at four.

Easements Discussed for Various Buffalo Projects

Easements for current and future projects in and around Buffalo were discussed at last week’s city council meeting.

Jo Co Attorney Brings VOA Issues to Commission

Johnson County Attorney Ken DeCock approached the county commissioners for help in funding for Volunteers of America, and also the possibility of housing VOA workers in a county-owned space.
