Justice Center JPB Updates Jo Co Commission

At last week's Johnson County Commissioner's meeting, the Buffalo-Johnson County Justice Center Joint Powers Board gave their quarterly update to the commission.

Three Options For Herds Needing Feed

Ranchers with surviving livestock who need access to feed have three programs that may provide assistance to them, according to a media release from the USDA Farm Service Agency.

Sagebrush Art Center Hosts Native American Expo

The Sagebrush Community Art Center, in the historic train depot, is hosting an American Indian art show and sale Thursday from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit will be up until the end of the month, but this week provides a unique opportunity to meet the artists.

Youth Triathlon This Saturday In Buffalo

The Buffalo Swim Club's second annual Iron Youth Triathlon is this Saturday at the Johnson County Family YMCA in Buffalo.

The competition is for kids up to age 15, participating in swimming, biking and running events.

Just "Clownin' Around At The Sheridan WYO Rodeo"

James, LJ, Cinch and Dawson were seen "Clownin' Around" at the 2012 Rodeo Royalty Competition while Tom - the 5th clown - was getting his face on. The 5-clowns were caring on the theme of this years rodeo as they helped out in the Exhibit Hall on Tuesday evening during the Rodeo Royalty Competition.

Southeastern Montana Fire Complex In Mop-Up Stages

The southeastern Montana complex of fires is expected to be contained at any time. The last report released from the Incident Management Team was released at 8 o'clock last night, and indicated the fire was 95 percent contained. The fires have burned almost a quarter of a million acres of BLM, county, and private land. We'll have more about recovery efforts as information becomes available.
